If its a bull red I won't( hate cleaning and eating them). A marlin that big I would be tempted...what are the chances the marlin survives after such a long battle? What if right when you release it a huge mako kills it?

I read that there is a less than 5% chance they go on to survive for longer than a week after a long fight.
