Oregano isn't just for meatballs, sauce, etc,. If you were really worried about spices going bad than you'd want to grow your own. Head over to the farmer's market on Perkins (Martin's lot). It's small but there's a guy there that sells nice and hard to find herb plants for $1-3 a pop.

Well we grow basil, thyme, and rosemary. But I'm not about to grow paprika or nutmeg or this other froufrou crap
