Not so bad. Some will say they are a bit harsh as a group, but I found them ok. Typical of large NE cities IMO.

Wife and I walked around then North End and found an out of the way place - G'vanni's. They had a special for two meals and a bottle of wine. Also had a good meal at Umbria Prime - steaks, seafood and pasta on the menu.

Forgot to add that you should try and take in a Red Sox game while there. We scalped tickets outside of Fenway for 1/2 of face value and had a blast. Try and find a ticket holder with extras rather than a scalper.

We are going to do a Red Sox game, but I was debating on whether to just get tickets now off of Stub Hub or try and get some outside of Fenway before the game.

Thinking about it Stub Hub would take the uncertainty out of it and allow you to enjoy the environment around the ball park more. I thought the Bleacher Bar and Boston Beer Works were awesome.

Wife and I also took in some of the historical stuff by walking the Freedom Trail. Pretty cool if you enjoy that type of thing.
