Why does my new Wildlife Inovations camera take color pictures during the day and black and white at night.

You sure it's black and white and not just the lack of light making the pictures appear to be that way?

Actually, all things at night lose their color du to lack of Uv rays from the sun. In order to be able to have color to you photos you need an artificial lights source to highlight to draw the colors out. I recommend a lantern set close to your feed pile. It will spook the deer at first but eventually they will get use to it

Moonlight lacks the necessary colored photons to accurately show color. Sunlight doesn't have this issue, but moonlight does.
