The better question is if LSU feels they should waste time on him now. Doesn't mean LSU will recruit him that hard now that he is committed.
If he really wanted to go to LSU, committing to TAMU was about the last thing he needed to do.

Committing to A&M has been a decent strategy for an LSU offer for others...
