Cellar Tracker

Right on, Papaboze. Love it.

Also, their app for the iphone/ipad is cor.kz. I find it much easier to navigate then cellar tracker; however, once you create an account, they are linked together.

Makes building and managing your cellar a lot of fun.

For regular occaisons, entertaining, RedTree makes a tasty Cab. The snob in me didn't want to drink it since it had a screw cap, but it was a gift. Then i found myself buying it in the store. Their Pinot Noir isn't bad either. Terrazas makes a pretty tasty Malbec and Cab...they are Argentinian and very tasty for the price. ON another note, i find myself constantly underwhelmed by the Australian wines.

The Cinq Cepages has become one of my favorites after having it a couple times. Actually picked up a 2006 for valentines day.

I'm becoming a bigger fan as other people mention it and I really enjoyed it the other night.

Now this sounds like something I should sign up for especially if they have a working app that is recommended..

This is a great app. I use it when I'm in a wine store or in a restaurant to reference things I'm interested in trying and it's pretty reliable.

Cakebread and silver oak are amateur cabs. Camus is best of the popular groupings honestly. I would stick with the more boutique items like burly, envy cellars, Orin swift papillon or mercury head, merus, schrader double diamond, or a blend from Favia called leviathan. All will be a little tougher to find so you should shop at a wine shop for them, not a run of the mill grocery store.

Screaming eagle during the days of Heidi as winemaker I'd say yes. Nowadays I would opt for schrader or Lokoya hands down on California cabs for a fraction of the price.
