I find the introductory/"calm before the storm" portions of the epic-scale RPG story arc some of the most interesting, so I guess I have a different idea of enjoyment.
I wonder why the chart focuses on the ease of gameplay with other genres but the slow development of the plot in most Japanese RPGs (because Western RPGs almost always start out by thrusting you full throttle into a chaotic struggle).
