The Peyton Manning you are talking about is not expendable, the Peyton Manning that exists in 2012 is not the Peyton Manning you think.
Again this is not Fantasy Football, where you start from scratch and just draft players. These are real people with egos, actual contracts, you have chemistry issues. What are you going to do if other players on the Texans don't like the idea of just throwing Schaub aside because a bigger name that was better in the past is available? Not that anyone would necessarily tank it, but you are a naive fool if you think that might not affect players and the team performance. The Texans players do not view Schaub the way fans do, i guarentee you that.
