Now im hearing rumors of him to the Texans? Anyone else heard this? Him (if healthy) and Andre Johnson would be close to unstoppable.

What you are hearing is fans on radio shows and or message boards speculating on any team, especially a good one that does not have : Tom Brady, Drew Brees, Aaron Rodgers, Eli Manning at QB.
There is no substance to it, don't beleive everything you hear.

Peyton Manning and Randy Livingston are currently working out with Mackie Shilstone, in an effort to make the Hornet's roster next year.

I seriously doubt it. Schaub is a good NFL qb and the Texans are poised to make a deep playoff run next year. I just don't see them taking a risk on Peyton Manning. I'm sure the Texans would pick up the phone if Manning calls but I just don't see them pulling the trigger.

You would also need AJ to be healthy which is quite the stretch.

I'll wait for Rob to confirm

It was reported last night by Bob Allen here in Houston on KTRK. He said that he had spoken to a close member/friend of the Mannings and that Peyton was seriously considering the Texans.
I'd be all for it, don't care to much for Shaub, don't think he has the fire that is needed in the NFL to win.

That's the thing though I don't doubt Manning is interested in the Texans but are the Texans willing to throw away a good qb for a big risk with Manning. You have no idea how he's going to come back from his injury.

Unamed sources with "ties" to the Manning family is not exactly credible. I know someone that know the Mannings, does that mean I have "ties" to to the Manning family?
This is not fantasy football, unless Matt Schaub's injury is worse than being reported and its feared he won't be able to play next year, Schaub will be the Texans QB.

Peyton is still under contract with the Colts and any contact between the two would be illegal so im going with this being bogus

Mannings are just trying to stir something up in their favor....

Schaub will never get the Texans to the Super Bowl.

Not to mention the salary cap implications.
I'm interested in working for John Arnold's hedge fund, doesn't mean I will get to work there

Why would the Texans get rid of Schaub?

If Peyton manning is healthy, they would be stupid to pick schaub over him IMO
