New rifle project break down

I'm posting this thread just to vent my frustration. Got a model 700 in 7mm stw with a Bell and Carlson stock and muzzle brake from a guy on another forum. Got a smoking deal. Finally found STW brass from a guy on the same forum. That doesn't sound like much, but it's huge as STW brass is scarce as hen's teeth. Rifle comes to my FFL with no problems and I'm getting pumped about getting my new summer project in when suddenly my background check gets kicked back. 
Got to wait all weekend to get it. 
I can handle that. Get up this morning to a crying baby and leave my phone in the bed room. Well, after haggling with a guy on ebay, I get him down to what I thought was a fair price on a Leupold Mark4 6.5-20x50 and go ahead and do the deal. After my wife gets up an hour later, I retrieve my phone to find a text from a buddy to tell me he can get the same scope for $200 less direct from Leupold! 
The text was sent right after I got out of bed. Wife said she heard it go off, but didn't say anything. :banghead: :banghead:
I hope this build gets better quick.

I'm surprised the brass is that hard to find. You can also make it from 8mm Mag brass but I doubt that will be any easier. Good luck with the project. What bullet are you planning on shooting?
