today LSU is relevant, something i only dreamed of in the 90s, so quit all 1/9 threads, LSU is projected in the top 5 next year, that's relevant enough for me

I'm still trying to purge the 90s from my mind. I was @ LSU for Archer's last season & all 4 of Curley's.

It's good enough for everyone but saying who cares about Jan 9 is just comical.

I cared about Jan 9th up to and until the game was over, and then I didn't care anymore, because the game is over, time to move on and quit worrying about the past. The future is even brighter

I agree with you but you can't act like nothing happened and not address the problem because there was a F****** problem.

I agree totally. I still hate Shaun Alexander for what he did in 96 at Tiger stadium. He embarrassed us himself that day by putting up 291 rushing yards. I was upset we loss the championship game, but even more pissed we had to play Bama again. I had thirteen weeks of joy and one week of misery. The joy outweighs the misery by far.

That's exactly the kind of thinking that creates the divide in our fan base. You say it's over, to move and that we have a bright future. I say, how can you even think that after such a horribly coached game? That doesn't signal to me things are okay and will get better. I'm sorry, that kind of embarrassment sounds off a ton of alarms for me and a lot of other fans. The only way to put aside those concerns is for Miles to prove he can become a better coach because of it and learn something from it. That doesn't happen over night, it will happen when the team takes the field next season.

Amen; too many spoiled fair-weather Tiger fans on the Rant; never knew a time like the 90s. Probably a good thing. They couldn't handle it. Jan. 9 is over. Move on, please!

Truth. Too many Chicken Little-like pussies post on the Rant. TD needs a juvenile section for many of the Rantards.

what about the 13 other games that were played and coached well?????? you seem to be one of those people who are miserable in their own skin. one of those people who hold grudges. sorry for your misery if you can't see this program is at the top of it's game and the best it's ever been in it's entire history.

you got the wrong guy, I don't bitch about the 90's or the past, because it won't change anything, the past is the past, you can only affect the future.

For people who like to wallow in misery it will not stop. I'm very excited about next year and the fact we finally have a good QB. I don't know much about the other QB's, but I'm hopeful.

Fans need some perspective. 10 years ago no one in their right mind would have said LSU will play for 3 titles in the next decade and win 2 out of 3. We will be one of the favorites to compete for it all next year. I understand being dissappointed with our last game but come on we are a better program than we have ever been....and no reason not to think it will continue.

You might want to wake up and smell the coffee cause there has NEVER been a time when things more "oked" for LSU football than the past 7 seasons.

If we can't be content/happy/pleased with reaching two BCSCGs in a 5 year period, going 24-3 and 15-2 in the last 2 seasons, 13-1 this year, and having more wins since 2005 than ANY other BCS program, coaching is not the problem...we are the problem cause our expectations have reached the delusional level.

1/9 is to Tiger Fans what 9/11 is to Americans. A day that will live in infamy.
