I'm not doubting the history or saying its a game that should be canceled, but as one sided as it is, its not a true rivalry. Players don't go to Notre Dame because, man we get to play Navy and back before my grandparents were born, Navy really help ND

That has nothing to do with rocket's original post. He was responding to the person saying that the Big Ten is full of ND's "traditional rivals" (as in, ND would be screwed without them) and he responded saying ND only has two opponents it has to play each year, and neither are in the Big Ten. I'd also argue MSU and Purdue definitely are more likely to be kept every year than Michigan, should we be forced to crunch numbers.
