He looks like he should be a good one. I was going to ask you guys about him as I read an article on him from yesterday where he said he had TCU as his top choice before being offered by LSU. Of course, now he is all LSU but found that interesting to see TCU was at the top of his list compared to some of the other SEC schools. Not to alarm anyone but it does look like he has to do some work in the classroom to get qualified but it looks very doable.
A couple questions for all the LSU fans, does LSU normally offer early someone who is a possible grade risk? How often does LSU have someone not qualify academically and has this changed at all since the SEC put that cap of 25 players signed per year?

Les Miles has taken more caution on academics risks than he did when he first came on board. This caused Darrington Sentimore and Eddie Lacy to leave the state because they were slow played due to academics. 2012 TE John Thomas isn't allowed to sign his LOI until he gets academically cleared, otherwise LSU would be at 23 signees instead of 22. In previous years, he would've been told to go ahead and sign and then they will see what happens. This 25 player cap sucks for the programs that follow it. I don't know how Bama is able to circumvent this so easily.
I noticed Patterson has done a good job in getting LA guys interested in TCU whenever LSU doesn't offer. Solid recruiting tactics but detrimental to MSU and Arkansas.

Will TCU try and keep the WM momentum going next year? 3 DL in 2 years, hope the trend continues.
