Im getting excited. We need a victory and Im already thinking about what Im gonna do with my 4 set of bobbleheads. Thinking about mounting them and having an artist friend do some sweet artwork on a backdrop. Gonna make this my basketball masterpiece.

Big game SOS in terms of our prospects for the rest of this year.

2-5 is about where I expected to be at this point but I expected it to be a more competitive and asthetically acceptable 2-5 if that makes any sense. The Bama and Kentucky game efforts were dissappointing in the second half efforts...I think we quit in both games.

I don't know how close these kids are and how much the coaches have a handle on leading them to a strong finish.

But this game IMHO will go a long way to showing it.

I've pretty much given up on Turner being the player he can be. Seems his confidence is shot and he's playing about as timidly as I've ever seen a kid play here.

But the rest must step up. Hickey and Stringer need to 86 the 30-footers and shoot good shots. The bigs have to post low, take it to the hole and draw some fouls.

Even our defense has regressed a bit, gotta tighten that back up and it starts on the boards.

This is a team we can beat. Can't let the opportunity pass. A win gives us much needed momentum heading into a much more favorable stretch of games to finish the year.
