Josh Fields : Looks like he took the job from Aso and progressed into a full time starter
He did win the starting job. But his 2nd year as a full time starter, his completion % went down plus he threw more INT's.
quote:
Donavan Woods: Only one season.
Went from a QB under Miles to a fricking safety. Really?
quote:
Matt Flynn: Definitely progressed.
Was not a full time starter the year prior to him starting
quote:
JJ: Stayed the same, some progression.
If you really believe this, our fanbase has problems. His best year was 2009, his first year as the full time starter. He got worse in 2010, and even worse in 2011.

Lee: Definitely progressed.
Was never the starter for the entire season

So what??? Did they regress throughout their careers or not?
Oh, and Tim Tebow clearly regressed from 2007 to 2009. Just look at the numbers. Urban Meyer sucks.
The only QB at LSU that regressed under Miles was JJ. JR, Flynn, RP, and Lee and progressed throughout their careers. Not sure I get your point.

The reason Woods started was because Fields left early for baseball. He was the OSU equivalent to Marcus Randall. Do some research for your analysis.

Backups progressing isn't important to the program?

quote:Dropped from 55% to 54%, and 10 int's vs. 12. Those are rounding errors.
(Josh Fields) He did win the starting job. But his 2nd year as a full time starter, his completion % went down plus he threw more INT's.
quote:Lost his job to a better QB. On the other hand he got better as a "f*cking" safety. (Lines up next to strong or weak safety?)
(Woods) Went from a QB under Miles to a fricking safety. Really?
quote:How is going from backup to starter not progression?
(Flynn) Was not a full time starter the year prior to him starting
quote:He had a good bowl game against Georgia Tech in 2008, that was it. We probably roll over them with any QB. As a guy who saw the JJ train wreck coming all season I would have to say that he really wasn't any worse than early in his career. He may have been marginally better in some areas.

quote:He was a much more controlled passer and definitely got mentally stronger (or else he would have probably snapped at one point in this psycho Miles season). He definitely didn't improve as much as he could have under consistent or supportive coaching, but he did improve.
(Lee) Was never the starter for the entire season
