I don't visit 4chan but I heard the meltdown was absolutely glorious when the spoilers first dropped. But really, the ending is such a copout; it's like he changed his mind on the ending as he was writing it. I wonder how it'll be fixed with the epilogue (10 years later or something like that) LN that's being released at the around this time as well.
And I rewatched the first episode of Toradora again after downloading the BD rips, since the NA version is only on DVD, and I never realized they started off the series with the same soliloquy they ended it with. Seeing that again, the ending is obvious right from the get-go

I don't really browse it either, but whatever happens there trickles down to reddit (because that's really the hub of all the info and reaction you see on the net).
