First half and it's not even close. Second half was complete dogshit while the first half was absolutely riveting and spellbinding. Actually I have yet to watch a movie about Vietnam that I really enjoyed watching.

I have the DVD and always seem to find myself watching it until the first half ends, and then cutting it off and watching something else. The second half is okay, but to me, it's not something I can rewatch a lot like I can the first half.
