We can have the best scouting department in the world but you aren't finding a player in the draft to step in next year and be Colston or Nicks. And there's no one currently on the roster to do that either. They understand they have more Payton/Brees years in the rearview mirror than laid out in front of them and I guarantee they know where the Superbowl is next year.
I think we would be fine with Tennent or DLP at guard, obviously they aren't Nicks but I think our o-Line is similar to Denver's old O-Line... It was as much about the system as it was the players.

And everybody thought we would be fine with Charlie Brown at RT and Kruetz at C. Pretty sure there's a reason two other players have been given a shot at C while Tennant still waits.

Couldnt agree more, Colston is consistent and Nicks while he is awesome and will miss him and worry about the O-line, our line has actually been a strength with guys leaving we had other guys step up.
