The biggest comparison I see is both can recruit like crazy but the coaching the X's and o's were better left up to the assistant coaches. Dale's best years are when he had Tex Winters as his assistant.

Les has great defensive coaches and let's them do their job. It has been reported on Dandy Don for the last two springs that the offensive coaches wanted Lee to start. Les should learn to listen to them.
