Les is like a C student in high school. He does just enough to get by and not fail. I doubt he wins a championship but probably a bcs bowl game which will make tiger nation happy while bama goes full steam ahead with top 5 recruiting class every year.

Right b/c he's never had a top 5 class and we never made it to the sec champioship and won or played in national title games.. Please stop acting like the sky is falling after one loss (were players & coach were outplayed and coached) and after a few recruits which 2 happen before game and now one mama's boy isn't coming... Happens every year to everyone.. so relax...

that mama's boy was the next peyton manning. LC was the next laron. GFY and yes i am mad. I watched us through the dinardo years and i don't want to watch us go into a slow decay. i have a hard time rallying behind les after that loss and especially now that he says he wants to recruit dual threat qbs. have fun watching short side options and bubble screens once mett leaves.

Keep in mind that Les has MORE SEC title game appearances and more BCS appearances than our previous coach. He has won the same number of NCs and SEC titles as our previous coach at LSU.

No other coach in the history of LSU football has beaten Alabama, Auburn, and Florida more in the same year than Les (that includes 2011).

I am just as disappointed in our BCSCG performance as anyone, but rather than skewer the most successful head coach in LSU history, I'd rather blame a shitty system that gave an egomaniac coach a second shot at us when he didn't deserve one. (Our previous coach can't seem to recognize that, yes, another coach CAN be successful at LSU.)

How many of us honestly thought JJ or JL would lead us to an BCS championship much less an appearance in the NC game? Not one of you. We made that game in spite of them. THAT'S good coaching. Period.

Perhaps, the problem was the fact that neither quarterback, over the course of four years, was able to inspire the trust and confidence of their head coach.
