From al.com

Seems a recruit made a comment that maybe Gene already knows who will be our next OC...

"He said it's going to be a little bit of the same. Four receivers. Three receivers," said receiver Jaquay Williams. "It'll be more a little pro style. It's going to be good."

Williams said he got the feeling Auburn would name its offensive coordinator "later in the week."

The delay, said Williams, "doesn't bother me at all."

"It's not a problem. I didn't fall in love with a coach. I feel in love with Auburn."

Already figured he had his OC and has a good reason for waiting. I did like the other things JW had to say.

I have no idea how well connected Chuck Oliver is but he said he is hearing Greg Knapp qb coach of the Texans is the guy.

I don't have a problem with Knapp. His offenses have been good and he can coach QBs. Can you explain why you're against the hire?

I don't think he's a good OC. Good at developing QBs though.

If he formats his offense after Shanahan and Kubiak, hire the dude... I miss Shanny's offense in Denver. Zone blocking scheme, bootlegs, roll outs, etc FTW

The guy sucks arse. He got canned from Atlanta...canned from Oakland...canned from Seattle...and ended up demoted to QB Coach at Houston. The only reason he got the Atlanta and Oakland jobs are because of that even bigger moron Jim Mora Jr. There is no way that any Auburn/Falcons fan could be happy seeing Knapp end up on Auburn's campus.

Greg Knapp is the Noel Mazzone of the NFL...how the hell he keeps getting OC jobs is mind boggling.

+1. No inside info, but I've got a feeling it'll be Geep C.
