Lee should have at least had one series in first half of both UGA and Bama games and he should have started Western Ky and Ole Miss
With that said, that crappy all star game does not give me any confidence that he would have done anything against the Bama defense considering he was running scared for his life in the first meeting in Tuscaloosa.

Lee looks good when the OL gives him time, I wish him well.
The OL was awful last Monday. Lee was awful in November. Sure, I'd like for Lee to have been given a shot by the third quarter but see no reason to believe it would have made any difference.
Time to let it go.

Intentional Grounding in the endzone works the same against WKU as Alabama.

He had one bad outing against Bama surrendering the ball twice. The same number of times Jefgerson surrenderd the ball in the NC game against Bama. The difference being Jefferson wasn't benched.

Loved the way the announcer cut LSU Miles on every play Lee did good........Said Nutt was playing Lee that way so Miles could see Lee could run and pass......

THIS on steroids. Stubborn jackass seems too easy on him.

Not arguing Lee's greatness, but he had the same level of offesnsive line and recievers which balances this argument out some. I think his TD passes were to WRs from William and Mary and Sacred Heart, fwiw.

All I am saying is that it shouldn't be a surprise that a a guy from LSU is the best player on the field when you look at the rosters for this game.

Watched the game last night. The defense was no where near SEC teams level, but that being said, Lee looked good out there.

Do you really have to ask that question?

Its just further proof that there's no way JL got a fair shot at LSU.

hence why the JJ/Miles apologists are here disparaging his performance.
because they're "true fans"

Les Miles = stubborn idiot. Lee looked very accurate with his throws. Glad to see JL do well in the game.

Seriously, I liked JL a lot and watched him a lot. He looked different in this game IMO.

Of course that game wasn't the same level of competition. That's irrelevant. It showed that Lee is capable of staying in the pocket or moving enough to buy time or run, and that he has good eyes and a good arm.
In THE game you try everything in your arsenal. Look at that video and see how often Lee had to release quickly, 3 step drops, etc. Putting him in the NCG would definitely have thrown a wrinkle at Bama. All we had to do was hit a pass or two, the crowd wakes up, the O line starts to feel an adrenalin surge, the Bama defense gets a tiny question or two in the back of their minds and hesitates a split second--momentum shifts. Les disregarded this possibility, and he'll pay dearly in this year's recruiting class.
