Les will only get better

Until JL's memoirs come out I guess we will never know what happened Monday night. I find it hard to find forgiveness for Les not putting Jarret in the game, but I'm trying. I do not remember a butt whuppin like that being put on a Les coached LSU team. Is there a game I'm forgetting?
Point being is I believe the depth of the hurt and humiliation Les must feel will only make him a better coach. Saban had two consecutive losses to LSU and a truly humiliating loss (last year) to Auburn prior to this game. I believe that served as mighty motivation for him and will do the same for Les. And for those about to tell me how much he sucks, look again at his record thus far.

I'm sure that all of us are going to lose sleep over what you are or are not "forgiving".

Yes, if Les has shown us one thing it his ability to change things up.

Cue the "Les shouldn't be learning on the job at LSU" retards.

Good post. Les did improve the D when he hired Chavis. Now he will find a way to improve the O when he hires an OC.

Closest would be '05 SECCG vs Georgia
'08 Florida and Ole Miss, '09 Florida

I don't think the thought of losing 3 straight games to Les was appealing to Saban.
That is the reason he lobbied so hard on national television to get a rematch in the NCG, even though his SOS sucked compared to OSU, and he gladly accepted #2 in the BCS despite coaches and human poll voters voting OSU SIXTH, and despite them coming in second in their own division.
What I would want to ask Saban and the BCS committee....WHY even HAAAAAAAVE Conference championship games? It didn't help LSU !!

Miles is a man true to his own manhood ha ha ha, so very true. The next time that we talk to him we can ask him just what part of the cosmos did he come from. And to please show us the plant that you are from, on the planet that you once lived on.
I'm sure this sounded clever in your head. Mainly because there is nothing else in there.

Let's hope. It's been 4 years.

at 3.5 million a year, do you think such large lessons should be learned on the job?

Sir, I'm afraid you're dead wrong. Miles is as dumb as a stick. How he handled the Jefferson/Lee situation is nothing short of criminal...the dumbest fricking episode in college football in recent memory.
LSU will still now be known as "Bama's Bitch"...a moniker Miles should wear with pride (he's too dumb to know the difference).

Damn, are you ever happy? Is this your whole schtick?

Even though we own them outright over the last 10 years? I think Miles and Saban are even right now. But, by all means, don't let facts get in the way of your verbal diarrhea.

This is not the first tiem we have seen Miles' stubborn reluctance to change in the face of evidence that change is necessary.
There are other examples, but does "Malveto" ring a bell?
It was called stubborn "loyalty" at the time. Maybe that's right....
Loyalty is a good trait
However, counterproductive and embarrasssing "pigheadedness" might also be appropriate descriptions.
In either case, LSU paid too high a price for this proclivity in Coach Miles.

He did when he hired Steve Kragthorpe. But then Coach K had to step down and Coach Stud took over. We were all worried at that point in the beginning of the season but the W's kept coming in. Finally caught up with us.
Coach Les needs to go find a top notch OC!
