Do you understand how insulting your statement is to JL. JJ I can understand. His attitude is absolute $hit. I'm convinced that he was a cancer to the team. JL, on the other hand, was a class act and ALWAYS represented himself and LSU very well. He might not have SEC starter ability but he was definately a servicable "back-up" QB. Without him, not sure if we go 9-0 this year. I appreciate Lee for sticking around when he should have left.
Put Lee in Houston type offense (and lower tier conference) and I bet he lights it up. And make no mistake that Lee coming out of HS could have definately gone to a Houston or TCU...without question. No SEC defenses and his stats look great. He would now (probably) be poitioned as a late round "take" in the NFL draft. He gets to the NFL and they realize that he can't handle heavy pressure. Yep...Les screwed that kid.
