It's funny to see you posting in a thread about JLee and giving JLEE his due.

You seem obsessed with me based on a false premise. I think both JJ and JL suck. They are not now and have never been good quarterbacks. When they came to LSU they were average at best. The greatness of Crowton made both of them irredeemably bad. Anyone who says differently (including a belief that JL was the second coming of Joe Montana earlier this year) has missed the last four years.

In 2008 JL sucked, but there are a lot of good QB's that sucked their freshman year. In 2009 we didn't see enough of JL to really tell. In 2010 he definitely had his moments. In 2011 he was playing like a great QB... until JJ showed back up. I suspect that JL had a hard time in those circumstances as he had to have confidence issues when Miles was favoring a QB that was evidently not very good. It's not likely that he'll become an NFL caliber QB, but it isn't an impossibility.

I suggest you look up Elway's first 3 years in the NFL. You would have been saying the same about him. I'm not saying JL is Elway. I'm saying he deserves his shot. Many others agree.

While I agree JL is not the "second coming of Joe Montana" earlier in the year..... you sure cant discount what he did!! Unless your blind or stupid. I understand he had all the strengths of the team to help him(great D, great special teams, great RB's), but he did a great job. As far as bringing up how he performed the previous years, that has nothing at all to do with what his performance this year.... Players do improve year to year... (most anyway)

And you know nothing about football.

JJ regressed every year here, JL improved every year here, so Crowton made JL and was a racist?

Wrong. They were both 4 star quarterbacks with offers from other big D-1 schools.

Lee was very highly recruited.

Jarrett Lee

As with a lot of players on the offensive side of the ball, their talents were largely wasted at LSU.

Dont know if you watched the NCG, but it seemed that crowton was back. So that shows that another factor (CLM) was making alot of those calls the last four years.
