Saban is making us quit quote: I believe its three national titles to one...... And who paid Saban's paycheck for that first one? LSU did. Who paid for the facilities he asked us to build. Uh-huh. That's right we did. Not Nick. That 2003 title is OURS, not Bama's. I wish they'd quit claiming it. By the way, Saban won the 2009 title with Mike Shula's recruits, so I guess that one shouldn't count for Saban. (2007--Miles's third year at LSU; 2009--Saban's third year at Bama) And our coach didn't have to go on TV while two OTHER schools were playing for the SEC championship to beg for a spot in the NCG using our success and his team's loss to us as the only rationale for being in the game. I love how Bama repeatedly uses our success this century as an argument to bolster their own. That being said, a ridiculous post from the OP. Nick Saban has had nothing to do with LSU since 2005. I didn't see our team quit in 2007 or in 2010 or on 11/5/11.

Would everybody quit with the nonsense?

Saban came into the national spotlight after LSU hired him. The ENTIRE Bama nation mocked LSU back then for hiring a Yankee. They had no respect for Saban.

Then after Saban and LSU won the NC in 2003, Bama realized that they were totally wrong, and they started to envy LSU.

Yeah, Saban is at Bama now, and he is the best coach in college football. But let's not pretend that Bama made some kind of a genius move by hiring Saban. It was obvious in 2006 that Saban was a talented coach that would bring Bama back.

Bama is VERY LUCKY about the way that it all went down.

PS The NCs that were won belong to the school and coach who won them at the time they were won.
