Les Doesn't Owe You Anything

Les Miles delivered one of the best seasons in LSU history. He won 13 games, the SEC Championship and competed (loosly defined here) in the BCS Championship. He got out-coached by one of the best ever after previously beating that team twice. We beat the BCS Champs, Rose Bowl Champs and 11 others. He coached this team to a terriffic season as a whole. The final game was an utter disappointment; you will get no arguement from me or any other Tiger most likely.
But to think that Les owes any of us an explanation for his decisions is unreal. Where in his job description does it say he has to explain every decision he makes to the fan base? Maybe he should talk to Lee, maybe he has.
An explanation of what happened will not make anything better. We still lost in an embarassing fashion, that cannot be changed.

Every coach, Miles and Saban included, always give their obligatory thanks to the fans, especially notable at trophy award ceremonies. If that's not just sports-politics, and they really appreciate and respect the fan base, don't you think that they would feel obligated to give more than the canned, simplified responses to questions on major debacles?

He is a state employee (the highest paid one) & most of us pay state taxes that pay his salary so maybe he does owe us an explanation after all - just sayin.

So your happy with this even though Miles gave up in the MNC game and did not throw the kitchen sink at bama to win this game? If he would have tried everything he could and we lost I would be ok with that, but the problem is he did not! He conceeded defeat and that is why there were more runs than passes in the 4th quarter and why JL did not get in the game. frick it is the last game of the season there is no reason to hold back if the offense you are putting out there is not doing shite change something!!!

You are all kidding yourselves if you think you would feel much better if we had lost by 7 or 14 or any other number. The end result is the same

Obviously, this man of "CHARCTER" cough cough, feels as you say. He owes no one anything.

BullSam , that is exactly what I was going to say. Now I live in Montana now so I dont pay Louisiana taxes but i still contribute to TAF and I kept my season tickets that Bro in law and cousin go on . As such Miles is a state employee and as you said the highest paid state employee, I dare say, so he does owe an explanation for that debacle. We are not just talking about a loss. hey we lose 21-17. 15-13 etc. he owes nothing, its just a loss but to go out there unmovtivated and uninspired as we did as a team and refuse to try anything different. I do believe he owes some explanation and that may would quiet the storm.

No, you're kidding yourself if you think a loss is just a loss.

I spent close to $5000 on my trip to watch the game and I know of other posters on here that spent more......he owes us an explanation at the very least!

Thats the chance YOU take by spending all that money. Life is a bitch sometimes. Take it like a man and move on.

You liked this.
I am going to ask you to explain yourself.
Justify this for me.
Les does not owe any of us any explanation for any of his decisions...why?

Wrong.. Miles compensation comes from self-generated revenue of the LSU Athletic Department or the Tiger Athletic Foundation and doesn't come from tuition dollars or state funding for the university. He doesn't owe shite..plain and simple...move on
