Bad agents yes. If you are talking to the right people, that should never be the case. (I realize it happens all the time though)

No saying agents are from the devil just that good procurement of any product involves knowledge and negotiation
I for one do not want to trust everything an agent tells me. I fully understand they have to make a living-
Some people are naive enough to believe their agent will always tell them what is best for them
