Quit bashing Miles

You morons really have gone off the deep end. This burn Miles at the stake for leading us to a national title game mentality is puzzling to say the least. He generates wins and lots of them. Sure he laid an egg in NOLA but should we really be calling for his job over it? I don't disagree with Hebert, but I do disagree with attacking LSU's greatest coach ever publicly. I know we were embarrassed but let's not run him out of LA. just yet. Be mad at the BCS for discrediting the Nov. 5 win, not mad that our coach refused to put in a career 1 TD 7 INT QB in the game.

Another drama queen who lives in the extremes. Dude, it's not all one extreme or the other. 99% of the people are somewhere in between.
It's not about putting in a QB who you described above. It's about keeping a QB in the game who threw for less than 100 total yards in his last two games, fumbled repeatedly and made stupid mistakes, refused to give his team any chance to win a game.
Les Miles brought 100% of this on himself and has to deal with it until his team can win the big one again. LSU fans will be behind him and the criticism will die down, somewhat, when time starts to heal the wounds.

For the the love of God. PLEASE STOP USING THIS RETARDED STAT. Four of those picks came when he was a freshman. You don't think he is a different player now!!!?

Drama queen huh? Have you not read any posts but mine? Miles is hated right now.

I'm not here to defend Lee or JJ. They were both less than sufficient and are history. Miles is our future. I don't want him to want out of BR because of moron fans. (thats what you are if you though jl would have won us that game)

I don't hate 13-1, with that one loss coming against Bama.
We need to just get involved in the Saints games and forget all of this. Mett takes the field in September.

If you don't think JL gave us a better chance to win or even contend in that game than the pathetic excuse for a QB that we started... then please get off of this thread and this site

Your that positive Lee wouldn't have led a comeback, huh? Can you prove that, please?

People are venting. Miles deserves all the heat he is taking.
You may be in over your head if criticism bothers you

Miles needs to own up and by the way he should donate any money earned for Monday night to a charity.

miles told the team to pack it in at 14:55 in the 4th quarter by running the ball down 15-0.
he quit.

I was not a Miles fan early on. He won me over for obvious reasons. I even stood up for him, argued stats, strategy, etc. I had to eat my hat Monday night. I was in the presence of some of those in which i vehemently defended him. I told them I was dead wrong. They had the read, I missed it.

Miles didn't "lose me" Monday night, he did cause me to start questioning some things again as I did when he hired the two headed gerbil as co-DC and retained Crowton. I think he is a great media guy, a very good recruiter and can possibly hold a program down but I am definitely sold that he isn't a strong "football guy." He needs to leave the critical decisions to the people he hires, and needs to hire some good ones. If Miles surrounds himself with competence and allows them to make decisions, his teams will again be championship caliber.

I agree with what you say, and its a very sensible approach. But damn, it just seemed like it was plain stubborness to me. And if thats the case, its a terrible trait for a coach

It certainly appears that way. I hate to say but some of us felt this way for a while and were ridiculed for that belief, but Miles definitely tried to make certain things work that were just not going to work, championship be damned. Seems the more he was called out on it, the stronger his resolve.
In the end, it does appear his pride and stubborn propensities got to him.

miles is a idoit he needs to decide on what his motives are causing a fight in the locker room because he refuses to listen to his players, keeping jj in the game
Posted on 1/12/12 at 5:11 am to BlazinPurple
i quit bashing the great les miles when he takes the blame for his part in the chaos in the locker room, causing several players wanting to leave, because of his love for jj.
