If EVERY factor were the same most would take Saban... However, all factors are not equal.... Given where LSU is today... I prefer Les Miles to Nick Saban.... Serious.

And ill bet $100 straight up right now on LSU vs AL next season to the first 10 people that want to make the bet.

Fail. We shut ourselves down....watch the game.

Wow, so Bama didn't beat the dog shite out of LSU Monday night ... LSU did it to themselves? Our fanbase has turned into a bunch of Gump-wannabes.

Give credit where credit is due ... Saban had his defense ready to shut down the option and then dared LSU to throw more than 10 yards downfield. Game over.

I agree it is apples to oranges but do you ever hear people saying Saban needs a solid coordinator to make things happen? No! Miles needs top flight coordinators or the 2008 defense happens.

Saban has the best players in the country....when he doesn't have experience, his record suffers.

Sean Peyton is a great coach....but our D still sux....yes?

Les has Saban coming to BR this year. I bet this next game Les will run the score up past 75.

You can want Miles and still think Saban is a better coach. There are more things to a program than X/O's. If Miles finds someone to turn the offense and personnel decisions over to, he will be better off.

And you are entitled to that. My opinion is Saban is the best recruiter in college football. ALWAYS top recruiting classes. Loses games he should not though. Not necessarily the best coach. Oh I forgot he won Coach of the Year this year didn't he? I will take Miles any day. ESPN is Miles enemy and some fools buy into ESPN way too much. Do not believe everything ESPN says people. Miles is to ESPN like the Democrat's(CNN, MSNBC) to George Bush. I would vote for George tomorrow. Be careful what you wish for.

Two championships in three years, I think he has fixed some of his problems, like losing games he shouldn't. Both LSU and Bama will be strong for the next 2-3 years in the least, and these comparisons will always be there.

I would take Miles over 95% of the coaches in the FBS, but it doesn't mean I think he is perfect, or doesn't need to change some things.

Les is LSU's 4 million dollar man. That being said,I don't think he would be offered a job at another school, he doesn't need one; he will beat ala. this Nov. and the beat goes on!

Miles just cannot coach the offense. U'll can make all the excuses for Miles but u have to face the truth some where down the line.

Just about any major college in the country would give their "left one" to have Miles for a coach

name one school who has come knocking, just one. Name one NFL team, just one. Not even as an OC or a position coach, not one team has tried to steal him.

Philosophically, his style and schemes and personnel decisions do not match up with any team in the country. I don't think anyone would trust him with the keys to a program or franchise. Only if he had top notch coordinators would it even be remotely possible.
