The FQ is probably the worst place to get oysters, just because there are so many tourists. And so, there's a wait and you'll pay.

Many people here laud Luke's for its oyster happy hour (.50 a piece). I am not sold. The last time I went, and this was a few weeks ago, the oysters were tiny and horribly shucked, as in shredded, not to mention the muscle attaching it to the shell remained, making it an even bigger mess to eat.

The best oysters are found in Jefferson Parish. There you don't have to wait as long or pay as much. Oyster specials at Don's (Mondays 5-9), Kenner Seafood (Monday and Wednesday), and Dockside are where you should go if you love oysters.

Felix's is the most overpriced, overrated restaurant in the Quarter, barring Galatoire's.

I went to Don's last Monday and they were horrible.

Don's might be the worst seafood restaurant in the entire New Orleans area.

Harbor Seafood on Williams is my favorite for raw oysters!
