New BCS rankings are not released after the game. Its just set up to get the 1 vs 2 matchup. Then the Coaches poll votes the winner #1.

they don't update. the only update was wins & losses. lsu still has a perfect ranking. that would not be the case if they were truly updated.

This, the final BCS rankings are released on selection Sunday.
