I am saying Miles refused to play Lee even in the most obvious cases where he should have, such as in the 2nd half of the UGA game and the second half of the BCSNCG.

Obvious to those who were screaming for Lee all along. While I'd have been perfectly happy to have him insert Lee for no other reason in the BCSNCG than it might have meant they'd have actually called a forward pass, to say it was "obvious" that he should have played him is silly. It's obvious some wanted to, but there was nothing obvious that a change was warranted or would have been effective.

Regardless of how you want to couch it, that's simply NOT a character issue...it's a coaching decision issue until we would hear it was something else entirely. To call it a character issue all but suggests it was a personal decision based on something other than football...and unless you have some evidence for that, it just comes off like an upset parent.

I want him to retain his character with the fan base, and based on the most talked about decision maybe in recent LSU football, it appears that a large number of people feel there is something other than a football decision involved. The appeal is to clear that up in order for him to avert questions about his central theme of character.

Let me ask you this GEauxTigerTM, certainly like myself I would assume you are not a coach but reading your posts overall, I believe you have very sufficient knowledge of sports and football in particular and forget character issues, and remember QB unfortunately is always the most important postion on a football team (like it or not , it can have the most impact on a team ala Cam Newton at Auburn last year). After what you were viewing Monday night, again I know you are not Miles, Im just asking if you were the HC in this hypothetical, somewheres in the early 3rd quater would you have kept going with Jefferson or would you have tried something else , be it Lee, Mett , try Spencer Ware or Shep in the Wildcat. Just anything from your arsenal of weapons just to see if something might work? Thanks.
