Again....He was supposed to either be Pat White (or what Denard Robinson is) at QB or Percy Harvin at WR.

How did he become a complete non factor???

There were some recruiting sites that felt he would be a better college QB than Terrelle Pryor. Again..Not saying he had to be great..but he was supposed to be good.

Well, he doesn't play QB and we don't run a spread option. He is the 3rd WR on a team that runs way more than they throw. He was also suspended for 3 games this year.

I said it when he was converted from QB to whatever it was he was supposed to be - CLM does not utilize his talent to the best of their ability. But sadly, it's not just RS who suffers from this coach's gaping talent blind-spot.

He (along with the rest of the WR's) should look golden next year playing with Mettenberger under center. It's a shame that all of our WR's have had statistics go down the drain the last portion of the season.

ETA: I hear he has an interesting twitter post right now, something along the lines of "I have a tough decision to make". I dk, a friend just texted me that

Officially, he was in on three (3) plays. Incredible. No. 1 rated athlete/QB out of Houston HS.....gets suspended, but for running his mouth, not for drugs, fighting, etc. We signed Reuben Randle and Craig Loston directly because he "recruited them" at the HS Under Armour all-star game in Florida. Wonder if he still "recruits" for LSU?

I just don't think he fits a position. He's not near the size and strength of Harvin or Pat White so converted to reciever and just hasn't translated to the position. I don't know why we don't use him more like we did his freshman year and at least get him the ball in space 4-5 times a game, but a lot of that has to do with the lack of talent at the QB position. Hopefully with Mettenburger things can open up more.

I really don't think it has anything to do with us not being able to utilize the talent. He just doesn't fit our system. He would be much better in the spread like all the players you mentioned (White, Robinson, and Harvin).

Feel bad for the guy, he could play at any skill postion on the field and we can use him right.

Does not really have a position at this time. I do not see him becoming a great receiver, and I hope I am wrong. We shall see next year, but if Beckham and Landry are better (I think they are) then he needs to sit or get more involved in the return game. Probably should have gone to a spread option school, but that fad seems to be going away.

According to Rooad and some of the more elitist posters on here he was supposed to be the next great LSU wide receiver. I knew it was a mistake then and stand by that now. If he had been allowed to run the ball in full Denard mode or have a package he could have been wildly successful.
