What is sad is that WHEN we win, it will not change. Most sportcasters live to hold Saban's jock strap, and nothing will ever change that.
WHEN we win, what are the odds that Alabama will rank above us in the preseason polls next season because of the love they shower on Saban?

The "Bama has the better team and coach" shite is surely good bulletin board material for our guys. In that respect, I don't mind it all.

I agree that Saban gets too much undeserved adulation from the media, but...FYI: 2012 Football Preseason Polls already out from NOLA and Athlon, both have LSU projected at No. 1. NOLA has Bama at No. 3 and Athlon has them at No. 4.
Early preseason polls don't count that much, but they are a definite start!
