Not been, but for some reason, the cold shuts down soft plastic. Slow spinners and jigs are my go to, with hard plastic if they are a little active.

I've just been hitting little ponds lattley, they are deep though...I've had the most play on little crank baits in the past on deep fishing in the winter.

Slow roll a big, dark spinnerbait with a Colorado blade. As previously stated, SLOW. When you think you're going slow enough, go slower.

I use the thumping of the bait on the line to tell how fast it's going.

Get a 3/8 oz. black and blue lunkerlure rattleback jig and tip it with a saphire blue chunk if sunny or a black and blue if cloudy and raining. Braid or 20#lb. Flourocarbon and don't forget to set the hammer!

Throw a big ol' Colorado bladed spinnerbait. Run it a little slower than normal.

I usually throw bigger worms in the Winter too. Senkos texas style.

:fistbump:

Do you remember that 30-pg spawn thread on the OT a few years back? First big push I remember seeing for the OB. And then came the revolution.
