Good reviews, but I have major issues with Sucre and Randazzo's. Sucre is the worst king cake on the planet, bar none! And the most expensive! Randazzo's is okay, but they put way too much icing on it, so much that it leaves a burning sensation in my stomach after even a few small bites. I had some Randazzo's yesterday, and I still feel it in my stomach today.

Yeah, I'm sure the Walmart one is better.
Thanks for once again proving yourself to be a non-authority on yet another culinary issue.

Just finished a delicious king cake from Dorignac's. It's much better than Rouses. One thing I've decided this year is that I don't like a strong cinnamony king cake. Rouses and Randazzos are off my list. I hate that feeling left in my stomach. They're essentially cinnamon rolls in a cake shape. Long live non-cinnamon king cakes.
