Our OC will be a relatively small name that runs an offense similar to what we run now.

You're probably right. Why can't we have an offense like what Wisconsin had under Paul Chryst? They have a great running game but can plays throwing the ball when they have to even with Tolzien and some of the other QBs they had in the past.

Paul Chryst was an unknown, until his success at Wisconsin. His two stints as Oregon State's OC and a couple years as Wisconsin's TEs coach didn't endear him to college football fans. Those powerful offenses since 2006 have. Jim McElwain didn't come to Alabama with a big name, but he became pretty popular the last couple of years because of the consistency Alabama saw on offense. Alabama doesn't have to hire some flashy name to have success on offense. Coach Saban will hire an OC that fits with the offensive philosophy and the staff that's in place.

That sounds exactly like Bama's 2010 offense. GMac threw for 3,000 yards last year. With Saban as coach and Bama's talent level, we don't need a superstar as OC. We just need someone who can develop a QB and have half a brain.
