There's a chart on this board that show JJ has a better qb than a LSU all sec qb.

This is a tribute to the coaching staff and how they've "protected" the QBs ever since JL's RSFr year, not a tribute to JJ's ability. Had Crowton not been a total idiot that year, JL's rating would look much better over his career, and he may have never lost the starting job.

Both QB's were victims of inept coaching and play selection. Now, the staff just has to work around the weaknesses. They could both have been so much better.

I agree. Jarrett threw the ball well and was being compared to Brett Farve. If not for Crowton and his idiocy, Jarrett might have had a good career. Nevertheless, he redeemed himself in the eyes of the fans. I am one of the fans who never liked his mistreatment. It wasn't JJ's doing that Crowton couldn't coach but it hurt both players careers.
