How about searching the online hotel/travel sites?
Generally, most places are sold out. If you find any, they are going to want three night minimum and it will blow your mind how expensive they are.

Check the surrounding areas. Airline Hwy in Metairie has some really good deals and only requires a 3 hour minimum. I'm on it!

most places require 2-3 night minimum stay and are $...you can see what is available using expedia...
