I know you probably already were in G-town, but my .02
Houmas House by far is the best
Sno's is pretty far down the list. Yes I still try it at least once a year because the in-laws like that shite.
The place by Elegant Affairs is pretty good.
Kamal's uses tons of spices and stuff that make the Greek/Lebanese different from most stuff in BR. It is worth a try.
Starlite Cafe does a pretty good breakfast if that is an option, not sure about lunch.
There is a South of Philly, Rotolo's, and Albasha if nothing else sounds appealing. Also the original Jambalaya Shop is just off Airline by Rotolo's, but it should be noted it is take out or sit in the parking lot.
Anyone tried Young's place? Think that is the name of the joint that is where Aunt Sue's used
to be.
If you are closer to P'ville/Dtown make a stop by John Michael's Good Eats. Huge menu is makes it hard to choose, but anything with the roast beef is legit.
