At the behest of my colleague aka the shawonometer, i watched this movie last night and found it to be pretty damn good.
Carrell is carrell and gosling is a damn pimp. The whole angle about the son being in love with the babysitter was kinda wack.

It would have been a lot better if Emma Stone wasn't in it. How the frick does someone with as much swag as Ryan Gosling fall for her? Also, the teenage babysitter that is obsessed with Steve Carrell storyline didn't really do anything for me. Marisa Tomei's character was easily the funniest part of the movie. She was in like three scenes but all of her scenes were comedic gold and had me in hysterics.

It was ok and all but holy frick Emma Stone was not attractive in this. Not that her face is ever attractive but it was bad here. Still don't understand how she's the new "it" girl.
