Here's a good tid bit.

6 of the last 8 years, the NFL MVP of the league was on the team with the best record in the league. The two times went to a player not having the best record in the league, they had the 2nd best record and they were only 1 game back. We're currently 2 games back from GB obviously. If they win this weekend, their last game is absolutely meaningless and writers will already have their ballots filled. You want drew to win, root like hell for the bears.

Thing is, as much as I want him to win it, it may work to our advantage for him to be passed over. He's a competitive maniac already, and him not getting the MVP when he's playing the best ball of his career might send him into berserk mode.

I think it would be nice for him to get some sort of dues for what he will accomplish by the end of the year, but I think I will be doing all my non-saint rooting for Seattle this weekend for sure.

I think the nfl should just datamine twitter for their mvp award; find out who has had their name tweeted the most this year.

Or they could change the award to the mpp, most popular player. That is a much much more accurate description.
