College football was a different animal back then.
During The past 7-8 years of Charlie Mac's tenure at LSU we struggled mightily against teams with winning records. We beat the creampuffs and weaker SEC teams--kind of reminicient of the '08 and '09 LSU seasons. That kind of performance would not cut it nowadays.

This occur all thru his tenure, not just the last 7 or 8 years.
