I remember when I started a topic a couple months ago about where MC and TM7 will get drafted, that everyone said TM7 is a 3rd-4th rounder, might not get drafted. Hmmm, how things have changed.

i agree with his breakdown of his skills
he will be a high pick maybe not 15 but high
he will be a high pick maybe not 15 but high

I don't think so. He'll be a good pro, but I think he'll be a nickel back and play lot's of special teams. He'll frequently be on the highlight reels, even though he won't be an every down guy. Late second or early third round would be my guess, though I'd love to see him go higher.

he'd fit beautifully in the saints defense that GW has...

Know this, a guy I played football with in highschool went on to play pro for 11 years.
His size you might ask? 5'10" 180. He was also cornerback and return guy. He played nickelback mostly, but when avg nfl career is 3 years, I would say 11 is pretty dam good. This guy still holds college record for blocking 4 punts in a game, or 2 kicks and 2 punts, can't remember anymore haha.

I just don't see it. TM7's football iq is off the charts, but there has never been someone his size drafted I the top 15. He is not blazing fast but he will have one of the top 3 cone times. He gets to his top speed very very fast. I just don't see him going that high with his measurables.

Reed was the 24th pick in the draft. Polamalu was 16th.

If he plays next year anything like this year he will get a high pick up based on his playmaking ability and his measurables will be looked past. He is the exception to the rule.

Stop calling TM7, Ed Reed or TroyP, he doesn't have either of their measurables.

I saw something about a week ago saying if he is going to be a good pro it would have to be as a slot reciever/return man.
said he doesnt have the cover skills to be a corner and is too small for safety.
this could change though....

This. And they still weren't selected in the top 15. He's a great player, but everyone check in with reality.

If he stays clean
He already has one strike and NFL teams value character over some of the BS he's already done

size is a knock. He's also been beaten sometimes when he peeks in the backfield.
but he does have some intangibles. Depending on his after season performance (whenever he comes out) and his Combine performance, he's anywhere from late 1st round to 4th round. Of course, continuing his great performance in the SEC next year would help his standing.
