The Quality of a Loss argument is directly oppositional to the "Entire Body Of Work".

Of course it appears there was some manipulation. Everything that experts said needed to happen in order for Oklahoma State to vault Bama in the final standings happened. Clemson blew the doors off VT. OSU crushed OU. Stanford and Bama sat idle. LSU destroying UGA was supposed to be inconsequential.

The difference can't be that Iowa State lost its final game of the season, can it? Shouldn't OSU's flogging of OU have shown that the 2OT loss was a fluke? How much of this was political pressure from ESPN and how much of it was cronyism? Since we only know the algorithm for one of the six polls, how do we know the BCS rankings are even accurate at all? The BCS doesn't even know and has to take the computer polls on good faith.
