Stan Potts is more entertaining than half of the shows on TV FWIW.
I swear that SOB is clinically insane!

Whoever mentioned Stan Potts is dead on.

The crazy look in his eyes he gets after thumping one is almost demonic. I mean... really Stan?
Also the team hunting shows have gotten frickin ridiculous. Turning hunting into a "Gotta score points " game scenario does just as much discredit to true hunters as does the high fenced operations that promise you a 150 or better.
And speaking of these high fence operations heres a little story.
Buddy of mine went home to W. Virginia last year and killed a MONSTER 168 3/8 by rattling him in on public land.
His rich uncle, so pissed at being outdone, arranges a "hunt" in an Amish area of Ohio this year where he shoots a 186 and some change.
His "hunt" consisted of riding down a farming road in a Rhino and picking out which deer he wanted to shoot. Never got out of the Rhino, just put the gun down on him and blasted away , then drove up to it in the cart. "Imagine shooting cows in a field" is how he described it.
And all for the low, low price of 10 grand!

OK.. rant over
