BCS Hotel Rooms

A little help here would be appreciated. There are basically no hotels left in New Orleans for Sunday and Monday nights. Do any of the hotels in Baton Rouge run shuttles/buses on game day to the game? Does anyone remember if they did for 2004 and 2008 games?

Are you a gump in disguise? I won't help a gump.

Check in Covington/mandeville. Pretty srue some of the hotels there did in 2004 and 2008

Most hotels are requiring a 3 night minimum, which would be Sat. night to Mon. night. Try changing your search and see if that helps.

There are plenty of rooms, they are just 350 to 450 per night..

3 night minimum all over CBD/FQ. Plenty of rooms.

Thanks for the help. I will try looking for 3 nights. I saw the rooms for 400 to 800 a night. No I am not a gump. I have two degrees from LSU and have it on my law firms calendar we are shut for business to watch LSU play in the national championship game.

This. And many times booking Sun-Tues nights instead of Sat-Mon will still satisfy the 3 night minimum but get you a much better average rate.
For example, I had the option to pay $700/night for Sat, Sun, and Mon nights, but instead I booked Sun and Mon nights for $700/night, and Tuesday for $250 night. So I'm just going to check out Tuesday morning and eat that night's cost.

Considering that the Saints are most likely going to host a playoff game that weekend in N.O, hotels are going to be tough to come by.
Yes, they do exist, but at 3 and 4 night minimums and very expensive.

There are 2 conferences also going on in New Orleans that weekend and those were booked 6 months ago.
