I feel sorry for JL but I am certainly glad this chapter will soon be over.
And what makes you think it's going to be over after this year? Sure the names may be different, but the head coach will still be the same, and if he truly believes what he says about preferring what a "dual threat" QB option like JJ brings to the table, I can't see him changing his mind all of a sudden next year.
Well, I did say "this chapter".
I can only hope things will be different next year, but I really know nothing about Randall. The little I have seen of Mett, and from what I have heard of him, he seems to be a premier QB. Part of the problem is that JL and JJ are at best fair to decent QB's, depending on what day it is.
Neither can be considered great.

I've been following LSU football ever since I was a kid in the early 70's. I played high school ball and I have never seen a situation like what we have between JL and JJ. Even as far back as Bert Jones/Paul Lyons, there has not been so much controversy.
Those times didn't have almost non-stop sports talk radio, 24 hr national TV sports channels, or the net where people hide their ID behind screen names and feel free to say anything that pops in their head bout a player/coach/fan.
And you do understand the college football talent difference between Jones/Lyons was like night to day and thats not the case with JL/JJ...right.

I feel sorry for JL
I admire JL, I thank him for his efforts, and he can be on my team any day, but I don't feel sorry for him.
LSU plays big boy college football and all of the players are dang lucky for any playing time they get.

I will most certainly be pissed off about how Miles wears his hat, first and foremost and then I'll just kinda build up on that...

Why the media is acting like bama won both of the games last year?
