yes.....
don't let the ECU fool you....just Lighten Up Kid.
If you think that Miles' road to success in BR was without a bumpy road, then I am convince you are are a homer.
Objectivity doesn't cost you your fanhood, you fricking idiot.

Anyone have a link to the gameday segment with CNS?

LSU Fans are so dumb sometimes.
The guy is a liar who is still doing damage control.
He has never, not once honored a contract, anywhere. (Thats his choice)
But dont act like he just wasnt feeling it in the pros and wanted to come back to college. Thats horseshite. That is a bama spin move....which they all still promote today.
If that were the case he would have made it known he was available for college. Sorry folks, he took the money from the gumps and screwed Miami.....just like he took the money from Miami and left us high and dry.
jilted .....not at all. Miles makes him look like what he is. Just dont try and bullshite me that he is a gump or anything else other than a self serving ego maniac.

Im not saying it was not bumpy, I agree. But timewise it has not been a long road. I suffered through Hallman during my years at LSU and so I am just saying I have different view. I apologize.

But LSU fans like to sell this story as some diabolical plot by Saban to intentionally screw LSU.
Lived here long? Do you KNOW Saban? R u kidding me?

Aint no doubt about it. Everything works out for a reason and Im sure glad that it did but you can bet that if Miles had gone to Michigan in 2007, Saban would have come back to LSU. However, Im glad everything worked as it did and Im glad we got Miles.

to suggest that these two individuals are similar in respect to their loyalty, once again, is deluded.
Okay, so we have two possible explanations why Miles stayed at LSU.
1. He loves LSU and is loyal.
2. It's in his best interest.
I say it's probably #2. He's got one of the best jobs in college football, has no interest in the pros, and the school he loves, Michigan, wouldn't hire him. Also, he loves his family and would like to see stability in their teen years.
You seem to be sure it's #1. He loves us. He's loyal to us. Are you a woman?

be honest with yourself...
Saban was the man, in BR. QUickly becoming a prick doesn't erase that.
MIles has exceeded what Saban has done. Albeit, on a long winding road.
if you call that a non sequitur...then you are as stupid as your ability to go apeshit after a true post.
Don't take every word like "Long" literraly and you won't make such a fool out of yourself.
We all went thru the "Time of unspeakable darkness" known as Hallman_Dinardo. You're not the only one.

Every single thing he says is trying to better his image and secure a BCSNC appearance. Just winning over the voters is all. You people forget way too fast, the man is a fricking weasel.

The Saban sympathizers that continue to pervade our ranks is astounding. Am I appreciative of what he did at LSU? Absolutely. Does that mean that I have to like him, take up for him on every thread like he's my fricking buddy that is getting negative slack unnecessarily from a jilted fanbase, shite no.
The only person I'm irritated with in this thread is myself for allowing me to get caught up in this stupid shite once again.
Saban's not here, he hasn't been here for quite some time, and he's only about one person in this entire world (including his kids) and that's himself. frick that guy, I don't have anymore time in the day to read people defending his actions.

wow I was trying to be nice. you are an arse. You mentioned a time frame then used clock management as a reference to show his road has been bumpy. Is it bumpy or long? pick one. and next time someone apologizes be a gentlemen.

Why are they mutually exclusive? I believe he loves Michigan more than he loves LSU, but he's never been anything but completely upfront with his love for them and I get it.

Wrong! Wrong and slanderous! The contracts coaches sign allow for either coach or team to terminate the contract. They specify the terms that will ensue a termination. If a coach quits and abides by the termination provisions he is honoring the contract. I'm not a lawyer, but I've executed employment contracts as an employer and an employee, and you're full of shite.

I probably know you if you're in that picture. CHS '92. But as far as Saban from this morning goes, I didn't read any of that in him with what some of you are saying. I don't think he has emotional attachment to LSU as much as it is that he has that 5 year itch he's had with just about every coaching job he's ever had. I think he does realize like some of you said though, that the Bama fans are just weird and bring college football fanhood to an entirely different level - like a cult.
Posted on 12/3/11 at 12:32 pm to dstone12
so you are not a bandwagon fan? you went to ECU for frick's sake, I bet you were an Aubie fan last year you little bitch.

Yep. Tim Lanier is in that picture too. I'm not outing myself because these people are weird...

this damn thread is quickly getting out of hand, No one can deny how sweet it will be to be hoisting the crystal ball in New Orleans with an undefeated LSU team having beating ole nicky 3 times in a row, can it get any sweeter
